The Trust & Safety team is announcing an immediate update to our COVID-19 policy. These changes align our internal procedures with the latest guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), OSHA, and the FDA for non-healthcare settings like home care.
Please review the key changes below carefully.
Key Policy Updates
1. COVID Pill Duration & Extensions Our COVID Positive Profile Designation for Clients who test positive will now be standardized to a 5-day duration. This reflects the CDC’s recommended minimum isolation period.
Extensions beyond the initial 5 days will apply only in the following specific cases:
Ongoing symptoms: With no improvement reported, the client’s profile will remain designated COVID-19–positive for an extra five (5) days (ten [10] days total).
Clients will still need Covid PPE in their home during this period of time (N-95 masks, Gowns, Gloves). Please ensure that these are delivered in a timely manner.
2. Exposure Notifications In line with CDC recommendations, we will no longer issue individual exposure notifications for routine cases to clients and care pros.
The health and safety of our clients and Care Pros remain our highest priority. These updated guidelines allow us to continue providing a safe environment while adapting to the current public health landscape.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to your Client Manager.
