Each Memorial Day, we pause to honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.
At Home Instead, service is at the heart of who we are. It’s why we exist—to serve older adults and their families with compassion, respect, and dignity. And it’s why we’re proud to stand beside our veterans—not just in memory, but through action.
Today, Home Instead Franchises serve more than 5,000 former service members, making up more than 10% of our total client base. And we are continually expanding our capacity to care for Veterans, including on the Care Platform. We are pleased to announce that the network served our first Veterans Administration (V.A.) clients on the Care Platform this month.
As part of our commitment to supporting you and the Veterans you serve, we’re excited to offer two V.A.-focused events in the coming weeks. Details and registration information are included below - both events are available to both Traditional and Care Platform owners. We also have a V.A. on Care Platform: Launch Guide & FAQs available on HomeBase.
Event 1: V.A. Compliance Best Practices (June 10, 9-10a PT)
Billing compliance is critical to maintaining your status with the V.A. and continuing to serve those who served us — especially as standards tighten. To help you stay informed and confident, we are hosting a free, expert-led webinar in partnership with Paradigm, our trusted V.A. billing partner. You'll gain clear, actionable insights on current V.A. requirements, best practices, and how to avoid common pitfalls in your Franchised Business. This is part of our ongoing commitment to support the Home Instead network with the knowledge and tools needed to grow your business and provide exceptional care.
Event 2: V.A. Growth Roundtable (June 25, 9-10a PT)
If you're already serving V.A. clients, now’s the time to grow that impact. Join our V.A. Growth Roundtable — a focused, collaborative session designed for franchise owners looking to strengthen their V.A. referral stream. Connect with peers, exchange proven strategies, and leave with actionable ideas to grow your business and better support veterans in your community.
